I was fortunate to tour East Tower, known better to me as East Junior High School. Oh, the memories. It truly is a remarkable building. Remarkable because it was so solidly built. Remarkable because it has prominent place in our county seat. And remarkable because it has such possibilities. Seneca County is known statewide as a community that has a reputation for stepping on its past. The renovation of this 1893 landmark with expansion to meet the needs of the 21st century could put Seneca County on the map this time as a resourceful and innovative community.
I encourage you to tour East Tower during the Tiffin Winterfest weekend Saturday and Sunday. Come to remember, see what has been done and imagine what could be done.
